Let's guess the 2026 AL Playoff results

      Cru's Corner has predicted the division winners in the American League to be the Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, and the Seattle Mariners.  The Mariners and Orioles should have enough wins to solidify the byes in round one of the playoffs.  Detroit will likely meet the lowest qualifying wild card in the first round.  Kansas City, Houston, and Boston will all battle for that position; however the Royals should hold off the other two.  The Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees will comprise the other wild card matchup.  Cru's corner has the Yankees over the Blue Jays and the Tigers over the Royals in a great three game battle.  The rested Orioles will beat the Tigers and the Mariners will beat the Yankees.

     The League Championship Series will pit the Orioles vs. the Mariners.  Cru's Corner believes the Mariners have the best starting five pitching rotation in the game, and the experience gained last year should help in this big series.  However, the Orioles have the best offense in the American League and will come out on top.  The Baltimore Orioles will return to the World Series for the first time since 1983.
